Be part of a live recording of an upcoming episode! We’re doing a live show at HIGH Frequency Fridays, the High Museum’s monthly after-work party. Christina and Regina will dig deep on Virgil Abloh: “Figures of Speech.”  and explore how Southern hip-hop artists such as 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, and Gucci Mane relate to Abloh’s notion of “Tourist vs. Purist.”

Join Bottom of the Map at the Trap Music Museum for a preview event on Monday, January 20 in celebration of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. We will discuss how Trap Music is in conversation with the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s and 70s and have a conversation with renowned artist DL Warfield. The showcase features hyper-local producers, lyricists, and dancers who are from/ or live in distinct places in Atlanta, demonstrating how MARTA not only connects people in Atlanta but people to ideas and culture in Atlanta.

People of color need better representation in media. Let's make it happen. All are welcome to REPRESENT, a day-long program by the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) on Saturday, August 3 for creators of color and their allies in news and entertainment media. We’ll be doing a live Bottom of the Map show! Also, “Super Producer” Floyd Hall and Christina Lee will be featured on the Power to the Podcaster panel.
